Life. It’s been fuckin’ busy.

Two months ago I went to Florida. Last month I went to Texas. I’m always going somewhere around the state it seems — usually just to Indianapolis, but other times to Terre Haute, Kokomo, Columbus, etc. for anywhere from one to three days at a time. Fortunately, things have been calm the last couple of weeks. Next Wednesday, the 25th, I’m due back in Indianapolis for an Information Security meeting. June 1st, the next Wednesday, I’ll be there for another meeting. Couple that with working 40+ hours a week at the school, then the projects I’m working on (or should be) on the side, all the time I spend with Lindsey, etc. and there just isn’t enough hours in the day.

I’m moving to Bloomington, by the way. Exactly where I haven’t figured out as of yet. I don’t know exactly when, either — other than “soon”. “As soon as I can” would be a better answer, I suppose. I finally decided that the eight or nine hours a week I spend driving back and forth could be better spent just staying in Bloomington. Ideally, I’ll find a place really, really close to work, but just about anywhere in Bloomington would be fine.

Last Friday was our Commencement ceremony. I had volunteered to help out with a few things, then ended up doing way more when someone else couldn’t make it. I eventually was staying at the edge of the stage handing out Alumni pins to all of our new graduates. A Hoosier-Times photographer was there to capture the action and I managed to get my picture on the front of one section of Saturday’s newspaper.
