I have to say, it was a top-notch course. Our instructor for the course, Jason Fossen is extremely knowledge on the course material that he was chosen to teach (granted, he’s been doing this course for five years or so). I can’t recall a question asked of him that he couldn’t answer. SANS did a good thing when they hired this guy for the course.

Today, my boss said he’d pick up the $300 tab for the certification test and I have either three months (according to Jason) or six months (according to GIAC) to take the test, so we’ll see how it works out. I’d really like to complete this one and move on to others, but this one will definitely take some studying and playing with in a test environment. Only time will tell…
