linuxwiz consulting now accepts credit cards
Written by jlgaddis on December 18, 2005 – 3:07 pm -Just a quick blurb that my company, LinuxWiz Consulting is now accepting online credit card payments (through PayPal) for our customers. Here’s the e-mail that went out:
Greetings,I am pleased to announce that those customers who wish to make payments online using a credit card may now do so, for a small additional fee.
Over the last few days, we have partnered with PayPal in order to make this option available for our customers. Due to the cost of accepting credit cards online, we are, however, forced to pass these costs on to the customer. There is a per transaction fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 USD.
Example: You wish to make a payment of $50.00. We will automatically add 2.9% — $1.45 — and $0.30 to your payment, for a total of $51.75. These fees are deducted by PayPal when your payment is processed, and the balance (your $50.00 payment) is made available to us.
For those who would prefer to avoid the additional fees associated with making a payment via credit card, please remember that we are always happy to receive a check! We understand that for many, however, the convenience of being able to pay online outweighs the small additional fee.
To make a payment through PayPal using your credit card, simply navigate to our web site, http://www.linuxwiz.net/, and click “Pay Invoice” in the navigation bar. You will be asked for your payment amount and then be connected to PayPal to complete your transaction.
As always, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thanks, -j
