interviews
Written by jlgaddis on February 22, 2006 – 8:02 pm -Last night, I spent 90+ minutes on a “phone interview” with our CISO for an open position (Information Security Engineer) and was invited up for an in-person interview today with her and the people in her department.
I arrived right at 1pm, found my way to their location, and we all gathered in a conference room. We spent about an hour and a half interviewing and discussing various things before calling it “done”. Afterwards, I went back to one of the guys’ offices with him and he showed me what he was currently working on (the firewall at my location). It was great to be able to sit and interview with them and also hang out with Dannie and see him in action. It really gave me some great insight as to some of the details of the things they do, though I pretty much know — just much more generalized.
So, anyways, I hope to hear something soon from Jan regarding the position. I’m really excited about it, though it means I’ll eventually move to Indianapolis.
