CentOS 4.3 released

CentOS 4.3 has been released, check out the official announcement.

Upgrading… they have a new update system in place, apparently. Just run…

rpm -q yum centos-yumconf
…and if it returns like…
yum-2.4.2-2.centos4 centos-yumconf-4-4.5
…then you are ready to go. To update your system to 4.3, just run…
yum update
…I have a box updating now (one new package installed, 80 packages updated, 143MB of total downloads), I’ll post back if anything gets b0rked.

UPDATE: Upgrade went perfectly. Rebooted the box afterwards (due to a new kernel being installed) and everything is smooth as can be — no issues whatsoever.
