airtran sucks, welcome to florida
Written by jlgaddis on June 28, 2006 – 8:20 pm -Well, I made it. Right now I’m on I-275 passing near Madeira Beach. Lindsey and Megan drove me to Indianapolis where my AirTran flight 411 left a couple minutes late. Of course we then arrived about 10 minutes late, too.
Even better, they then made us sit on the taxiway for about 15 minutes because another plane was at our gate. And then it took ‘em roughly 35 minutes to get the luggage off the plane and onto the belt.
First time I’ve flown on AirTran and I imagine it’ll be the last…

So you think your experience with Air Tran was bad:
Incompetence in the extreme Air Tran Airways
So in theory our vacation was supposed to start today.
Air Tran Airways however has decided that was not to be. The level of incompetence is really quite unbelieveable.
Air Tran delayed our flight to the point where we missed our connecting flight.
There is no flight now going to Vegas, you have to either fly to Atlanta and spend the night there or spend it in Dayton.
Here is a coupon, that works only in a city that is 200 miles away for a discounted room.
Uhhhhhh, we don’t know nothing about coupons go back to the gate.
Uhhhhhh, we don’t know nothing about coupons call the number again.
Here is your luggage, uhhhhh I mean here is 3/4 of your luggage and somone elses bag.
Can you help us find our bag and help us get the wrong bag back to it’s owner? Sorry theres no one here to help you, leave a message and we will call you.
These idiots have ruined a months worth of planning and probably lost several hundred dollars worth of gear.
At every turn these clowns have proven thier incompetence, at every turn when we called Air Tran the person at the other end of the phone was hostile and unprofesional.
Got a new permanent company to bad mouth Air Tran.
