john mccain has a secret plan to capture bin laden, according to the huffington post.
in “mccain’s secret plan to capture bin laden,”:
“one thing i will not do is telegraph my punches. osama bin laden will be the last to know,” he said today while riding on the back of his bus between florida events. in other words: he’s not telling. why not share his strategy with the current occupant of the white house? “because i have my own ideas and it would require implementation of certain policies and procedures that only as the president of the united states can be taken.”
apparently, if mccain happens to win the republican nomination and wins the general election and can get these “certain policies and procedures” implemented, then maybe he can capture bin laden.
i suppose that if any one part of that fails then we’re all just sol, right? if he were really that worried about bin laden and the security of the united states, he’d begin now to get those “certain policies and procedures” implemented so that he could be captured, regardless of who the president of the united states is. sounds to me like mccain just wants all the glory for himself — he’s not worried about the rest of us, he wants to make himself look good.
or, most likely, he’s just full of shit.
