if you heard about the oprah winfrey/caroline kennedy/michelle obama rally at ucla, you probably also know that california’s first lady maria shriver (arnold’s chick) was a surprise guest. you probably also know that, despite the fact that her husband, the governor, is a republican (and endorsed john mccain last week). that makes it even more surprising that she would come out for obama, though it’s nice to know that she is able to think independently.

now after al gore, john edwards, and bill richardson give their endorsements, obama will really be set.
