Comcast #fail

I received the following e-mail (only slightly censored):

My friend’s mom runs a small business … and got Comcast business Internet hooked up earlier this week. From what I gathered from my friend, Comcast installed a Netgear router, in addition to the router that they already had in place there.

Apparently when Comcast activated their account, they forgot to turn off whatever management facility they use, so they are now left with two visible networks: their own, and Comcast’s internal network. He discovered this when all of a sudden, Facebook was blocked by Comcast’s proxy server. Noticing that his IP was 10.x.x.x, he made the conclusion that “whoever set this up was a mongoloid” and started pinging and nmaping the hell out of the network. I’ve attached a partial nmap scan that I was able to retrieve for your viewing pleasure.

Here’s the nmap results.  Good job, Comcast.
